The more physical memory your Virtual Private Server has, the more programs you'll be able to run simultaneously. Some applications require loads of RAM even if nothing else is running on the web server, even though they might not require high Processor speeds or a lot of disk space. In case your hosting server runs out of memory, it will stop responding and the websites and the offline programs which you host on it shall not work adequately, as their software components will not load since there won't be any free memory. In this light, we offer a RAM upgrade for our VPS plans, thus if you detect that your server is close to the limit, you'll be able to take advantage of this upgrade without upgrading the whole plan and paying for system resources which you won't use. In this way, you could guarantee the proper performance of your scripts and stop worrying that your website visitors shall see errors or will be unable to open your sites at all.

Additional RAM in VPS

Additional physical memory may be added to any of the Linux VPS that we offer, including the top-end ones, consequently your websites will function correctly all the time. The upgrade is available both on the order page and in the billing area, so you could add it whenever you require it: before your server is prepared - provided you know that your sites will require more memory, or after the machine is working - in case you notice that the standard memory isn't enough for all the sites to operate adequately. In the second situation, the amount of RAM that you order shall be added to the current configuration with no action required on your end and without VPS shutdown or reboot, so there will not be any downtime for your Internet sites. The upgrade is available in increments of 128 MB and you shall be able to include as much memory as you need, simply because the physical machines offer enough resources to permit the virtual servers to be upgraded considerably.
